The ‘Code Geass’ Sequel Film Will End the Series Next Winter

Are your ready for Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch? The production staff finally dropped details on the sequel – which will be a single film.

Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch has been teased for a while, and details are still slim. It’s taking place after the Code Geass compilation film trilogy, which is an alternate retelling of the original anime series.

In May, the original creator and director Goro Taniguchi called the compilations “a possible future for Lelouch” that doesn’t interfere with the TV series. He also told fans that the TV series is a finished story and that the compilation films were created to lead into Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch.

Sunrise is planning on debuting Code Geass: Fukkatsu no Lelouch in February 2019. They also noted that the film will be the finale.
