Love in anime has always been depicted as either fate, opposite personalities attracting, or as a crazy girl with a big-ass blade. But can you PROVE love in a scientific manner? One upcoming anime is going to find out!
Rikei ga Koi ni Ochita no de Shoumei Shite Mita is a rom-com manga that follows two scientists who are in love. Due to their profession, they want to gather real proof and quantify that their love is based on logic as opposed to raw emotion.
Alfred Yamamoto launched the manga series in 2016 and it has been a hit with adult readers — it has more than 600,000 copies in print! In fact, Rikei ga Koi no Chita no de Shoumei Shite Mita has already been adapted into a live-action show and a film will premiere on February 1.
The anime’s website hasn’t revealed the upcoming adaptation’s staff or cast, but they will provide more info soon.
